The journey toward recovery begin with the first step.
Types of Intervention
At The Hope Center for Rehabilitation, we have trained representatives available 24 hours a day who are versed in talking to anyone considering entering addiction rehab, but still unsure if it is right for them. They have not only been through the process, but can pinpoint specific programs that would help the struggling addict with their problems. You can reach one of our interventionists at 1-866-233-1869.
Many times, a phone call is not enough. The Hope Center also has a team of interventionists around the country who can perform a physical intervention, a much more aggressive, but effective approach. This approach is typically non-confrontational, but allows a much greater likelihood that the person will accept treatment as the interventionist shares his or her experience and explains what the program offers.
In most cases, a person struggling with addiction will need some professional help in getting them to agree and understand their need for treatment, especially since a major symptom of the disease of addiction is denial.
For those who are struggling with speaking to their loved one about their problem, or if an intervention from a trusted source is necessary, The Hope Center for Rehabilitation has a team of interventionists available for any need.
In many cases, an intervention can prove successful, and if not immediately, can at least plant a seed so they are aware of the options available.
Why Intervention Works
It has been proven that an outside perspective and outside advice is often far more effective than the loved ones of an addict desperately trying to convince them to openly receive professional help. Addicts will frequently claim, “You don’t understand” – which, in most cases, is true. It is easier for one currently in the grips of an all-consuming chemical addiction to relate to someone who has been in their shoes, someone who they have no personal relationship to and no tumultuous past with. A 3rd party interventionist is often instrumental in convincing one who is refusing treatment and refusing to acknowledge that they have a problem that they may truly be in dire need of help.
If you yourself are struggling with what you may believe to be addiction but are unsure of what steps to take, feel free to call the number below to talk with one of our recovery advocates, who may be able to guide you in the right direction. If your loved one is in need of help but refuses to willingly receive it, call us so we may assist you in the taking the correct steps in order get them the help they need.
The Hope Center for Rehabilitation offers a full range of services both leading up to, during and following treatment, including professional interventions, a luxury, medically assisted detox program, inpatient rehabilitation (30-90 days), intensive out-patient rehabilitation and out-patient services. Each of our clients become a part of our alumni program at the completion of their treatment to help foster a continued community of recovery.
