What requirements must be met in order to receive a Join Commission (JCAHO) certification?

In order to be awarded the gold seal of approval from the Joint Commission, the center must undergo periodic evaluations by JCHAO’s licensed experts, who provide an honest appraisal of quality of care, treatment offered, and level of expertise, as well as monitoring safety standards.

The Joint Commission is the longest withstanding healthcare accrediting body in the U.S., monitoring providers and their level of service since 1969. This independent, non-for-profit accrediting agency certifies healthcare organizations throughout the United States. Their standards are considered the most rigorous of the available accrediting agencies for behavioral healthcare and substance abuse, inspiring centers to excel at providing quality care and service to their patients.

As DCF’s standards outline, “The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Program Office [of DCF] is responsible for oversight of the licensure and regulation of all substance abuse providers in Florida. Licensure Services are required to administer and maintain a comprehensive regulatory process to license service providers and professionals who provide substance abuse services to individuals and families who are at risk of or challenged by substance abuse

The Hope Center for Rehabilitation offers a full range of services both leading up to, during and following treatment, including professional interventions, a luxury, medically assisted detox program, inpatient rehabilitation (30-90 days), intensive out-patient rehabilitation and out-patient services.
